Questrade is Canada’s fastest-growing online brokerage with $9 billion in assets under management. Farrow is among the largest private family-owned custom brokers in Canada. It has over 700 employees in 31 warehouse offices.
Christine Day
As an entrepreneurial C-suite executive with a unique background in capital markets and information technology, Day has played a significant role in steering Questrade from start-up to the fastest-growing independent Canadian online brokerage and a Deloitte “Best Managed Company” for seven consecutive years.
As an agent of digital transformation, she has pioneered industry-wide innovation and led regulatory change that allowed Questrade to launch Canada’s first robo-advisory platform, Portfolio IQ. She is an advisor on Fintech Innovation for both the Ontario Securities Commission Launchpad and the Ontario Ministry of Finance Fintech Working Group. In 2007 she was recognized as a Canada’s Most Powerful Women: Top 100 Award Winner.
Arlene McDonald
An experienced technology and digital transformation executive, McDonald has a 20-year history of leading IT initiatives around information management, security, customer support and business continuity. She is skilled in negotiations and building high-performance teams. Prior to joining Farrow, she held senior IT leadership positions with PointClickCare and the Region of Waterloo.
